[Q] Download Mode

Hey XDA Comm. !

I'm using the bible for Odin guide for noobs. and I downloaded the Stock Krylon + root file and odin. It says to get the phone into download mode. I've been trying to get my phone into download mode, but it's not working for me. I have a leaked Gingerbread VUVKF1 2.3. Does that have anything to do with it because I'm not sure, anyways is there another way I can get to download mode. This is my only way to get back to Stock.

try Vol Down + Power

If you are on VUVKF1 GB ROM, then you would have the GB bootloader, because you say the regular method to go into download mode is not working,,,,try this in the exact same order

volume-down(press-n-hold) + home-button(press-n-hold) + power

chadster i had gingerbread when the leak first came out on my phone and after that i had numerous froyo roms on my phone and last night i had to odin back to stock while i was on black ice with red cwm and i gave me a weird download mode but it still worked. but why do i have to do vol down + power if i was on froyo? how do i get the bootloaders back?

could find anywhere else thanks
