[Q] Changing default launcher

I'm trying to change the default launcher/home screen to ADW Launcher EX, but the way it explains it in the youtube video but it doesn't work (that pop up doesn't happen).

is there any other way to make it the default on android 2.2?

here, i just install ADW LAUNCHER and then reboot cel, then i got all working

though it still wants me to crop wallpapers lol
