Thanks heaps.
I'm currently running the Frankenstein LA2 rom with the KP8 modem. Haven't done any speed tests but performance wise it's pretty good with data, and great overall. No issues with lag or FC's, no rebooting also. Has a class 10 16Gb micro SD installed as well.
Been tempted to play with a few of the ICS roms but I'm not going to now I have a stable and good setup.

I have tried many roms and now use Turkbey - stable with awesome eye candy. He is very active in dev and will release ics be end of month. Will give his ics a go when released, worst case - restore.

I'll looking forward to moving to an ICS rom, but being with an optus carrier with an I9100T, I'm expecting a few modem drama's again....

I will have to watch a see if a good T modem rears its head....

I've always had drama's with modems, even KF2 zipped from these forums.
The only real mmethod that works for me is the KF2 extracted from the original Telstra ROM, and flashed through Odin - no zip...

I'll try this 'Modem_I9100TDUKJ1_CWM', but
i'm not getting my hopes up..

Works great. and with cwm :woot:
SGS I9000 - Milky's
SGS II I9100 - Omega'd
SGS III I9305 - Ripper Rommed

DONATE TO ME
Default I9100XXKP8 Modem

I'm having a few tiny issues with this modem, on the Westrcip's v8.4 ultimate ICS XXLP6 (Android 4.0.3) . Doing a ROM update today to see what the fixes are. I am guessing my problem is largely with the modem - any one else having an issue with this modem (On Telstra)? Cheers. [Also, my handset isn't a 1900-T handset, so I don't have to worry about that]

I have been running REMIX Reveolution ICS from 8.4 and am currently on 8.6. Rom is good enough as a daily driver but I have had some dramas regarding modems...

Mine is a i9100T (telstra supplied) and since moving to ICS i have not seen a H+ logo no matter what modem I run. Even tried the stock Telstra one from GB.
Currently on xxLPB but have tried DVKF2 KP1 KP4 LP1 KP8. They all work but speeds and coverage vary.

So far, no modem that gives me what I want. Could be a ROM thing who knows. Just saw a V9 of Remix so will have to investigate!
