Strange thing. Must be my settings on sd-ext. Since I keep having it even when re-flashing.

It's annoying that it keeps unlocking my phone in my pocket (or reboots my device).

Small illustration with pictures:

I emailed the dev of agile lock and he's working on it.
There has been a few updates recently.

hi, mysta magoo,

thank you for your support, and thank you for your feedback.

-about the home button issue,
you could go to setting "fix double lock screen issue", select mode two.
or select "use system security lock" in the setting, and set system security lock.

This worked for me.

The power button problem is strange because it didn't happen for me when you originally posted about it but now it does?

Thanks for the hint. But I don't have the home button issue. That one is working as it should. However, I did install Agile lock at a certain point (3 weeks ago), but I had the issue my phone kept on unlocking in my pocket. It was too sensitive.
So I removed the Agile (uninstall) and re-activated the stock lockscreen. But ever since then I have this power-button issue on lockscreen.

Why not Titanium Backup Pro? Works like a charm here.

I use both Nandroid backup/restore and Titanium Backup (free version). Works great. From time to time I also use Backup Master.

Maybe because Titanium Backup (non pro) is free and do the job ?

Maybe it's a 'feature' introduced by a nightly?

I have rom version 2.7.4(earliest I have) I can revert back to to try.

But then again.....

Just a guess but this is the classic symptom of the red power button failure. It's the primary reason old time HD2 users are emphatic about using soft buttons as much as possible. Through normal use, the hardware buttons (especially the red one) will fail eventually. It's just a matter of time.

Hopefully it's something else less permanent but just in case, you can search around and find plenty of info here about it, especially ways to confirm or eliminate this as being the problem. I also seem to recall there was a way to clean the contacts and get more life out of the phone. Now that we have the tablet tweaks the phone could last a long time after cleaning the contacts. The way I have my phone setup I only press a hardware key (any of them) one time to wake up the phone then I never need to press one again until I want to wake up the phone again.
