you need to install a sense rom go into GPS then after it's locked leave GPS open and go to ROM manager and restore your CM7 it should work then.

Default Assistance requested - Wifi Hotspot

I have had TB since April - early adopter - love the phone. Just recently rooted, have Infected Eternity with 3.5 Sense - really like it. Had a few issues, but resolved them all with research.

Basically, 1 LARGE issue remains - Wifi Tethering/Wifi Hotspot.

Summary: I enable, set up key, hotspot shows in lists on target devices, can connect with both a win7 laptop and an android honeycomb tablet using the key, shows connected on both ends after entering the key, but will not successfully give a useable connection. Browsers will not respond on either target device. Have researched and seems there are issues with the Infected Eternity built-in wifi hotspot driver, but no resolution and no posts in 6 weeks.

Could someone re-direct me? I attempted to post in the Infected thread, but since I am newly registered, I am not allowed.

Thanks!

Default re: Assistance requested - Wifi Hotspot

Found the issue. WIFI Hotspot does NOT work in Infected Rom Eternity Sense 3.5 latest build. As a workaround, I downloaded and installed Wifi Tether from Google Code and it works fine.

Maybe my post will assist those who are having the same problem, but no clear information about functionality. I couldn't post in the normal thread since I am a noob (on this forum anyway)...

I switched from a boosted evo to the thunderbolt on page plus Fully flashed.. utilizing ehrpd radio which is awesome to talk n surf now that page upd the annie with 1 g a data a month this set up is only getting better, now its off to start developing a miui rom and life is good..and besides all the problems with my phones is all hardware, crapy speaker, sucks on speaker phone, i luv the kick stand compared to the evo.. anyways my favorite android so far..

p.s. its a perfect candidate for rebuiling into a super bad a** phone..

Angry Appreciated

I appreciate all of the tips. I have been rooting for quite some time and using this forum almost exclusively. I have never registered because I never had much to say. Until now. I registered solely to compliment Team BAMF and thatdudebutch on the most succesful ROM that I have flashed to date on my Thunderbolt. Son of a bliss is fastastic! I have used everything from basic debloats to MIUI and SOAB is now my daily driver. Thanks to all who post and put in the hours to keep this site running strong. You are appreciated. Incidently, what the F*** is going on with multiupload?! I thought that ROM development was open source and did not violate any copyright laws. Is this correct or have I been misinformed? Thanks again!
