Default SMS application

I got a quick question may be a little stupid but I'm curious. My gf has the Samsung fasinate I put a Tom on there for her and the sms stock theme is slick. Is there any way I can install that sms app on the galaxy 4g or will it just force close ?

You would have to pull the mms.apk from her ROM, then transfer it to your phone. Then copy the file to system/app rename your old mms.apk first, then copy new one over. Be sure to change permissions to rw-r-r.

Did you rename the original one. If you have the link I will test it out.

You can also look into go sms pro. It's a pretty neat app.

I haven't tried all of these only the black and white transparent Facebook and Google+. But I pushed them to system/app. You might be able to flash them but I didn't try it.

If you brick your phone I'm not responsible.
