It doesn't affect your efs partition in any way, hence the nv_data.bin

Just make sure you still backup before flashing..

I have tried a different modem and it didn't solve the problem but when I installed another rom it solved the problem! weird..

I think that's because the CM team is focused on developing CM9, there is no that much work and developing around CM7 so there is no much new stuff for nitr8 to make new updates.

Insanity ICS CM9...hell yeah this would be awesome

totally agreed...

CM9 is under 'closed' source dev for now. Once they open up, probably we will see Insanity ICS.

There is an insanity ICS but only nitr8 has it.. he has started a new venture and so his time is tied up.. maybe in the future there will be more.

I have not spoken to him since before Christmas.. he has disappeared under his workload.

Thats a STRANGE statement.... what are you trying to do? there is a filemanager app in the rom, there are many filemanager apps on market.
