Modified mms.apk for Samsung Galaxy Gio S5660

This is the Mms.apk from Galaxy Gio Android 2.3.3 (S5660XXKPE).
It will work for all android 2.3 firmwares for Galaxy Gio


Changelog-Features
- No more sms to mms autoconversion after 4 sms.
- Possible to add to the message 1.000 contacts instead of 10 contacts.
- Default max sms per thread: 10.000 (default was 200)
- Default max mms per thread: 1.000 (default was 20)


How to install (For odexed roms only, not for deodexed.)
- Optional make a backup of your current sms (smsbackup+, or titanium or any app you want)
- Your phone needs to be rooted (You cn use SuperOneClick to root it)
- Download/buy root explorer.
- Place the Mms.apk in your sdcard.
- Open root explorer and navigate to your sdcard.
- Find my modded Mms.apk and select "copy" or "move".
- Go to /system/app/ and do "paste"
- Reboot your phone and you are okay

Note: Dont mirror this file (dont reupload it)

try the modified mms.apk for 2.3.5.. link is in the 1st post.. and set the permissions as rw-r--r--.. Let me know if that helps..

Using root explorer, go to system/apps, copy "Mms.apk" and email it to me, I'll make one for you..

We should have a thread with all the working Mms.apk for the Gio.
I tried a few and bone worked for me except one from CM7. But even that one had a problem with MMS :( would not send or recieve.
Anyone got the one from CM7 working properly? Please share.
