I heard that for the captivate and i9000, there is a little USB tricking jig that touches 2 points in the usb port area using 3 resistors. This forces the phone into download mode. Isn't there something like that, that could be used incase we hard bricked our phones incase we wanted to test this and it bricked us?





I AM WAY TO SCARED TO TEST THIS AS DAD BOUGHT ME THIS PHONE AFTER I BROKE MY HTC DREAM(G1), AND I AM TOO SCARED TO DO ANYTHING THAT COULD HARDBRICK OR PHYSICALBRICK MY PHONE.

(I would have been happier with an android device that is easier to DEV for though. Maybe an MT4G or even a G2 or a Nexus S. Samsung has completely screwed android to the point that we can't even install cm7 YET)

Yeah, of course I know, I said it in my post.

I was asking if there is one of those jigs for SGS4G incase we wanted to test this bootloader.

wiat he flashed them it sent him to download mode to flash a new rom but it did not brick the device were now going to test on gingerbread to see if recovery works :P ladies and gents we may have cwm support as of tonight
