Default Wave Launcher will soon be giving our search button back!

I was wondering a while ago if there would be any way to put an icon on a wave launcher bar that's programmed to serve as a search key, functioning as the search key would in an app. then i got the Wave Launcher update today, which mentioned that it adds compatibility for third party plugins. my email to the wave Launcher dev:

Is there (or could there be) a way to configure wave launcher so one of the icons could be a software search key? For those of us without one on our phones I mean. I have google search as one of my WL icons, but that's only part of the search key's functionality.

his response:

Hi Charlie,
We have a planned plugin with such functionality (Search key and other hardware keys).

Lior

So I'm pretty excited, this could really make it easier to decide on new phones when i'm ready, as I won't have to worry so much about buying phone whose manufacturer was stupid enough not to put the stanard search key on it (looking at you , Sony and HTC, you ******* idiots.)

All you need to do is add the Voice Search "app process" to an icon. Go to add an app process first then scroll down to Voice search. I have done this ever since I first started using Wave Launcher. Works perfectly, no 3rd party plugin needed.
