No. The wallpaper isn't the background at that time, it only is when the desktop is showing.

Just realized that we don't have google movies on the market and never have. What's up with that?

My Optimus Slider is rooter and it still has the Movies section on the Market/Play Store. Either way I wouldn't rent or buy a movie from the market, I'm just gonna stick with Netflix.
