Default USB port broken after thunderstorm

My USB port seems to be broken after my phone got sort of wet in my pants during a cloudburst . I didn't realize the phone had gotten wet inside after way to long. I can see a bit of copper rust inside the port. Is there anyway to clean/fix it?

I think they will see it got wet because there are moisture indicator stickers inside and wet means out of warranty right? It's even worse than I thought, I can't shut down the phone, it will restart and when I take out the battery and put it back in it will show the charging icon flashing the overheating icon

this really sucks, I have never seen rain like this in Holland before
