Could you please try v0.5, if it's better?

If not, please check following
- Check if these files exists
c:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\NotesForExchan ge Outlook AddIn\ExchangeNotes.dll
c:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\NotesForExchan ge Outlook AddIn\ExchangeNotes.tlb

- Do you have .NET 3.5 installed?

- Send me log file (if exists)
c:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp\ExchangeNot es.log

thanks
There is no log file. I updated to the latest version, running Win7x64 with office 2k10. I go to hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\office\outlo ok\addins and don't see any "notes" entry. I go to Options/Add-ins in Outlook, and see the Exchange Notes item under Inactive App Add-ins - when I try to enable it, I still get a runtime error occurred during the loading of the com add-in.

When I try to manually add the add in, I get "path\exchangenotes.dll" is not a valid Office add-in".

One more thing: when I go to registry (instead of hkeylocalmachine, hkey_local_user\<samepath>), I see the ExchangeNotes.Connect item, but the load behavior is 2, not 3. I found out it must be 3 - some reason it is disabling itself. See link:

I have a similar issue, with my recent new install. The add-in doesn't seem to register properly in outlook. Also there are no logs being created in the temp directory.

Also, I'm using office 2010 64 bit.

Where is the v0.5 zip. I'll try that.

Anyone have the v0.5, zip?

Default Older version of software

Sorry to post again, but does anyone have an older version of the installers? The version 0.7 seems to be having a problem installing on my machine. I wanted to see if an older version would work.

Sorry for delay. I was on holiday.

0.5 and 0.6 is uploaded to first post. Older outlook plugin could be combined with actual apk, so no need do downgrade android application.

Older version works on your computer? Installer wasn't changed, so I don't think that older version will helps. :(

When you change reg key load_behavior to 3 and restart outlook, will it write anything to nt event log? (My Computer/ manage / events)
btw. It's correctly registered to HKey_current_user, because many users has no rights to write to HKey_local_machine.

Do you have this file?
Code:
c:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\NotesForExchange Outlook AddIn\ExchangeNotes.tlb
It should be created during .NET dll registration.

Hi, I know about it. Appointments created by older outlook plugin has incorrect format. There will be hotfix in next version.
Or it will fix itself when note is edited with new plugin installed...

Default COM Load Error

1. None of the versions work. This is a first time install, so I have not had it successfully working at all yet.

2. Outlook give the following error when I look under COMM Add-Ins.
"Not loaded. A runtime error occurred during the loading of the COM Add-in."

3. This file and directory do not exist. c:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\NotesForExchan ge Outlook AddIn\ExchangeNotes.tlb

4. c:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp\ExchangeNot es.log does not exit.

5. I'm running windows 7, 64bit, .net v4

6. What should I look at next?

doesn't exists too?
Looks like installation entirely failed. Ended setup successfully?
Please, search computer for file ExchangeNotes.dll. It should be somewhere in c:\Users\<username>

And do you have following file?
Code:
c:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.<ver. number>\RegAsm.exe
thanks

1. c:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\NotesForExchan ge Does not exist. The only thing in C:\Users\khhis\AppData\Roaming is a microsoft subdirectory

2. ExchangeNotes.dll does not show on on C: drive anywhere

3. c:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.<ver. number>\RegAsm.exe does exist in : C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319

Ok, problem is in missing dll file. It should be installed into user app directory.
There should be lots of think in AppData/Roaming. Please run "cmd" and write "set" + enter. What is in APPDATA parameter? There should be subdirectory NotesForExchange with dll file.
