[Q] can we have Playnow on custom roms?

is there a way to have Playnow service on custom roms?because it has some cool things from time to time here in USA

1. Root and copy playnow.APk from system/apps to SD.
2. instal new rom and fully whipe.
3. copy the apk from the SD back to system/app.
4.tap it and install
5.?????????????
6. PROFIT

i tried this way and many other ways.doesnt work.it has some downloads from time to time
