CRT OFF- SIMple Instructions

oK. I have searched around this forum a LOT and have not been able to understand how to do it.

I have looked in the thread link above too, which is exactly what I want but dont seem to understand the instructions. I tried it once and at the end of it got stuck in a boot loop. :P

I am very new to this as you can see. Can someone simplify the instructions for me or something? PLEASE, really really want this CRT off animation.

I am on 2.3.4 Stock.
Kernal Version is: 2.6.35.7-I9100XXKG1-CL......

Hey man, forget these nasty trolls, just look for an app called Screen Off and Lock on the market, it has included the crt off effect, plus a bunch of other really cool ones, sounds included... no need to root
