[Q] Sensors Pitch and Roll 45° off

Strange problem here - regardless of which Rom I use, my sensor shows 45° when it should be 90 - same for pitch and roll. I checked with GSkyMap, and my horizon is right above my head. Calibration, Reset - no effect. Please can someone cross check that behaviour for me, before I start thinking it might be a hardware issue...
