[Q] HELP! Lost wifi connection

Hi everyone. I was trying to free up some bandwidth on my Linksys e2000 router by getting it off the same channel as 3 of neighbors have and when I did, the tablet stopped connecting. I turned it off, then back on, I've forgotten the network and then back on typing in the password. It sees the network, just constantly scanning and trying to obtain an ip address. I've also turned the router off and back on to reset it. Also, I changed the channel back to the original setting to no avail. What is going on? Thanks for your help.

Ok, never mind. I was able to manually set a static ip address. It took me a while to figure it out. Not being tech savvy takes me longer. I would love to root my tablet, but I'm scared.
