Here are some stock apps & widgets from 2.1 that work on 2.3.4 SwiftDroid RC2 (the list will get bigger):

MemoWidget:
DOESN'T WORK IN 2.3.5 SwiftDroid RC3. IT FORCE CLOSES!

Installation method:

1. Copy apk to /system/app
2. Set its permissions to RW-R--R--
3. Reboot and add it as a widget
Note: It will install normally, but will not save your notes

Ah, I read it like you were saying "if you follow these instructions it will install normally but won't save your notes"

My mistake

BTW On my phone the calendar widget causes calendar to FC if I click on a date. Does it work for you?

No, it fc on click, but that's because in 2.1 it had the 2.1 calendar from LG, which I think it's looking for. I shall try installing calendar provider, see what happens
