question here: am i the one only experiencing lags on the smartass governor?
ex: when texting (i text fast) the letters appear late when i type successively. this does not happen when using ondemand governor.

no change just use 006 one
with unchecking it works but changing in brightness might diametrical or very erratically

Here is my review of using Smartass Governor.

Pro:
Saves a lot of battery! Can last up to 4 days with minimal use and 2 days for daily communication used. 0% drainage on idle overnight.

Cons:
Some application lags eg. DSP, SMS typing, Gallery etc.
Slow down a bit the performance.

PS:
If you want to save battery life go with smartass but expect a little lag.
If you want to have better performance and stability stay with ondemand but expect a great battery drain.

Hi you can back read some post to be more aware.
DX forgot to copy the new cam lib thats why googles dont work for now.
Be patient to wait for v8. Its soon.

Batery drain!!!

Ok! I installed 007 yesterday but i didn`t have time to read posts to see if someone allready complained about it, but my battery drained 20% over night and again 10% in the last hour and half! I tried to install Juwe`s script via recovery couple of times but no success. Every time it said install complete/ reboot phone and yet there is nothing in system/etc/init.d. My brightness is at 50%, background data unchecked, wi-fi & gps are off, data is off, ondemand governor... I honestly don`t know why my battery is draining so fast!? But so far i don`t have isue from 006 but in 006 my battery was exelent!!! Will see about that isue (lagging and unstability - restart needed) latter on using this version.

But me and biscoitu share some configs to improved batt performance. You can visit smartass thread for more info!

I wish governor with the mix of smartass for battery saving and ondemand for performance and stability exist! I cannot find a perfect config to mix that always with pros and cons.

battery drain is still remain.....

8hour on normal mode (with battery dr.) i loose 12%
most battery using function of this os is phone idle and cell standy... at night time their was no any sms and call....

fbV23 only consume 2-4% battery at night time
