Thank you!

I don't have any problems with usng Ubuntu on my PC, I like it using it.

So I'll try it and I hope I will be allowed to ask further questions if there are any.

EDIT: How many space uses Ubuntu (I have the TF with 32GB internal memory)?
EDIT²: Q about NVFLASH: TF must be off, I keep holding power + volume down, screen stays off, I install APX-drivers, NVFLASH is working? Or what is NVFLASH exactly I'm asking cause I've found this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1123429

Ok, I downloaded Ubuntu (950MB) and the flashkit for Ubuntu (~6MB).

But how to continue? Transformer in APX-mode or not? Or only USB-debugging and execute the *.sh-file through the terminal?

Take the time to read through this thread, as this has been answered. There's no hardware graphics acceleration, so Unity doesn't work at the moment. When you log in, select Ubuntu Classic.

There's plenty of info in the thread about WiFi and TouchPad. If you have issues, create a thread in QA. This is still a dev alpha, so very little is going to work "out of the box."

Put the transformer in APX-mode and run the .sh script from the Linux PC you have the Transformer plugged into. The .sh script is simply running nvflash commands, so you're welcome to open it up in a Text Editor to see what it's doing.

Please create a post in QA. The answer is on the first post in this thread. If you want dual-boot, you need to place a system.img of your ROM of choice (you can use the one you pulled from the backup you ran earlier) in the images folder.

If you have questions about setting this up, they don't belong in this thread. This thread is intended for active development use, not for "how do I use this?" questions.

For those having issues ubuntu always booting I found the cause of it I think

Ok I use prime after fresh nvflash everything seemed fine dual boot working as it should if you choose reboot recovery within prime it breaks something and then you have to turn on while holding vol down then wait for erase user data screen then press down and cold boot

So to all using this don't reboot into recovery! !!!!!!!!

I'm going to do a reflash tonight now I know

Also ubuntu 10.1 netbook build for the tegra 2 they have everything bar flash working is that because its older ubuntu or could we learn what they did?
Just thought I'd put it out there I can get there system image if it helped in anyway : )

I've seen posts in this thread telling people to read back to find what works and what doesn't, which is a bit of a silly thing to say when the thread is now almost 80 pages long. Looking through the thread I found the following:

Quote:
Working:
Keyboard
Touchscreen
USB
Internal storage
SD card reader

Partially working:
Wireless networking (kernel patch needed for Network Manager)
Touchpad (with a kernel patch, no multitouch, no auto-disable)
Sound (headphone jack works, speakers don't)
Graphics (no acceleration)
Bluetooth (with patch and userspace hack)

Unknown:
Power management
Anyone willing to add to this?

Edit: moved Bluetooth to partially working.
