Can anyone please tell me why are the battery/signal/WiFi etc icons do small? and whether they can they be made bigger?

The screenshots in the OP show the size of the icons is to scale with the time, but as per my screenshot, they are much smaller on my phone.

I've flashed the ROM twice, and fully wiped EVERYTHING before each flash - any idea how I can resolve this, or is this just how it is with this ROM?

As you can see ThJap has overclocked his cpu to 1190 mhz... And his SD-Card seems to be higher class because it is also faster... And that way he has more points.. I think this makes sense

how can I overclock my cpu? I thought the rom did this by default?

also his RAM and database IO is much higher than mine

Use CPU apps like setcpu, cpumaster nofrills, etc

Backup in xRecovery, Wipe everything, flash ROM, restore data from backup

Btw, it's recommended to do a full wipe ;)
