Default [Q] Google+ in the Social Networking app?

Has anyone had any luck getting Google+ to integrate with the stock Social Networking app for notifications and status updates? I'm assuming we need to wait for an update from Motorola and/or Google and/or Verizon, but thought I'd check in with others in case I simply haven't configured it properly. I should say my real goal is to be able to update status on Facebook and G+ at the same time from the Droid 3. Thanks!

that'll be great if we can get google+ with the next version of blur update, but I really doubt this would happen...

I would tend to agree, seeing as g+ is still "invite only" (though like early GMail, everybody and their grandmother already has multiple invites.) Because of this, I can see Motorola identifying this as a "selective market" and skipping development for it. Besides, afaik, there is no documented API for g+ yet for them to work with.

Maybe once we get root a dev can modify this to work.

agreed, this isn't going to happen until G+ gets out of beta stages and removes the invite only method of getting an account. Not to mention last I heard invites were put on hold for now.
