It should be fine unless you are moving the surface its on or rest it on an incline, its more of a funny novelty I'm sure

My GF bought me one of these for my b-day last April. Works pretty good on my N1, but wont stick to the back of my G2x... so I mostly just stick it to my forehead and fondle it like a third nipple.

they sell the iPlunger in urban outfitters...

also, i think the iStand is sturdier and grips the surface much better.

It might be better... but its not funny.. its not a little plunger which is the whole silly point . personally I dont like any stand. I dont want to carry something around just to prop my phone up.
