The G2 is the spiritual successor to the G1 (Dream), is there any idea what will be the successor to the G2? A possible G3?

In that it will have a hard keyboard, run pretty much vanilla Android and of course be from HTC

What do you guys think?

Well its not android and no "4G". Besides that there isn't much diff. Not a fan of windows phone 7 and how they lock everything down.

Would be nice to see the successor for G2

Sent from my HTC Desire Z using XDA Premium App

No... The MyTouch 4G slide is the successor to the....... MyTouch 3G slide.

The MyTouch lines and the "G" series lines are different. They define the Mytouch line as the more basic-user line, and the "G" phones as a higher end or pro-user group.

Remember that the G2 isn't really that old yet. If I had to guess we'd see a G3 of sorts in the next several months. I'm pretty sure the G2 sold well for T-mobile and they like offering it.
