Default APP REQUEST: an app like noLED to flash up notifications on the screen

Since our Galaxys don't have a real LED to show us notifications,I'm looking for an alternative.. I use noLED to accomplish this on my samsung Fascinate phone. It is essentially turns the screen black and flashes a small icon across the screen to show which notification occurred and since the screen is an amoled it doesn't waste much battery. Its fully configurable for which notifcations it displays.

Anyone know of something like this for the galaxy?

The Tab has a TFT screen, not an AMOLED, so I believe it would have to light the whole screen to show notifications.

I would be the okay with that if it had power options to control brightness and flashing frequency and timeout when not plugged in.

Come on devs!
