would it be possible to fix half-bricked devices with *.cab installation, cotulla?

for example applying a new SPL with cab...or editing the registry/files to make the phone think its still on nodo and make it updateable?

Yes, it's one of the possible ideas. Maybe try to apply HTC-OEM Image update (some of them have SPL / RADIO too.) so it can be possible to revert SPL version back. And maybe it will work again. . .
But we need somebody to grab such updates and somebody to try. It sounds like really ability to restore. but until we try we can't make right decisions.

Anybody with a half bricked device tried to restore an older backup from Zune?
Does the backup contain SPL? Could it restore the old SPL from the backup?

People are just damn blind, ignorant, dumb or they are just big time NOOBS! What they need is a guide to how to flash for dummies, sorry because reading most of the posts on how stupid people are and ignoring warnings makes me laugh! Seems they are not ready for the modern world.

Sent from Aruba(OneHappyIsland) using XDA Windows Phone 7 App on HD7
