This ROM is overclockable.

This is a direct port of the HTC SALSA EUROPE RUU (Thanks to Football) w/ Drowningchild's kernel for the Aria. (8-9-1) Thanks to him!

AS ALWAYS! NANDROID BEFORE and WIPE DATA / FACTORY RESET, WIPE DALVIK, AND WIPE CACHE BEFORE FLASHING THIS ROM! ALSO WIPE DALVIK CACHE / CACHE BEFORE FLASHING DTA2SD TOO!

The ROM will take a while to boot, it is deodexed.

Known Bugs:
(Feel free to PLEASE post other bugs you find too!)

-After a reboot using the advanced power menu, the phone will not reboot anymore. I have experienced this at least 5 times. I have to wipe data everytime and do a clean install. BE WEARY!!!!!!, but it has worked before.
(Seems to only happened to DTA2SD BETA)

-Disabled Proximity Sensor (test) because Android 2.3.3 has a Sensor Polling Battery Drain problem - was showing Dialer as highest battery use.

-Removed HTC bloat (HTC Like.apk, HTCReccomends.apk, Facebookchat.apk [battery drain])


[For a temporary fix for the Android 2.3.3 Battery Drain, turn off Quiet ring on pickup, Pocket Mode, and Flip for Speaker in Settings > Sound.]

I also suggest going into no-frills CPU control, setting the max cpu at 806, and min at 245/320. Set governor to interactive and I/O scheduler to V/R. Great speed.


TO DELETE APPS YOU DON'T WANT, DOWNLOAD A FILE EXPLORER, GO TO /SYSTEM/APP, MOUNT R/W, AND DELETE THE .APK. I WILL NOT BE DELETING OR ADDING ANYMORE BLOAT.

What's the difference between this port and the ones by Drowningchild?
I'm currently using his "Pico de Gallo" ROM, and aside from being slightly laggy in the UI, it's very nice.

I'm using the one that came with the Pico de Gallo ROM - no modifications (except install DT Ap2SD).

The difference is that its based off the Europe RUU and look at the change log.

Currently using the same kernel as the pico one.

So if I understand correctly then, the European version will function exactly as the Pico version, right?

What are the advantages of using one over the other (other than the additional features listed in the change log)?

I don't know every other advantage/disadvantage, but it's more updated the the Hong Kong RUU one.

And this ROM will be worked on and be more stable than the pico one in the future.
