[Q] How about audio quality?

Hello guys,
I am interested in buying the HTC chacha. I want to use it as a portable music player too, so i want to ask about the audio quality with headphones plugged in (loudness, sound quality). My headphones are good so that won't be an issue.

Sound quality is not as good/loud as it was on my Blackberry 9700 BUT the phone makes up for it with the all the quality audio apps in the market.

Try out Power AMP by Max MP and Music by Google Inc.

I'm using Audio Technica ATH-M50 Pro Studio Monitors.

Thank you for your reply, Eric. That was a really good comparison, i know BB 9700 plays music very nice with headphones.
I think i'm going to buy the Chacha...still waiting for other opinions about audio quality, though.
Btw, i have Razer moray black, hope it'll be a nice match.

Audio quality is pretty good for the average listener, but it drains the batter pretty quickly.

I bought the phone yesterday and I'm liking it so far. Taking out the battery is a pain, much like other HTC phones.

When I have to do paperwork I enjoy stay listening to music with TuneIn Radio app. Very good so far. Yes it drains the battery.
