Default [Q] Two unrelated questions

Did some searching but did not come up with anything concrete. I have two unrelated questions.

1. What is the expected amount of battery life out of an Evo Shift? How many hours?

2. When messaging I find it annoying that you have to continually scroll down after you fill up your screen. Is there a way to make it so you don't have to do this?

Well it depends on the Rom you use, your apps, and usage. I can tell you on MikShifted G v1.3 I was getting about 11-14hrs. Off one charge. Moderate to heavy use. Everything on: GPS, Data, Email, Texting, etc..

As for the messaging, I don't have that issue. Every once in a while it will scroll up during typing. But I've found that's me, not the app.

Exactly what prboy said.
But imo, sense roms tend to use more battery life than aosp.
I'm on shiftdeck ROM and getting about 16 hours. With heavy usage and wifi on. One time I got 34 hours.. ya.
It all just depends on certain phones.
As for the other question, I never got that problem. As soon as I got my shift, I rooted and changed roms.

I will try that! I get that all the time, so annoying.

Battery life is about 24 hours for me. Most of it is standby as I am not on my phone 24/7 obviously. Like right now I am at 10h 33min on battery and at 72% But probably only an hour of actual usage maybe

Yeah been getting that same messaging issue on my girlfriends phone. did ya find a fix for it?

EDIT: Never mind i just downloaded a 3rd party messaging app for her and all is well. Although i still think HTC should address this issue even if it only affects a few users.
