Default [Q] s-OFF pros?

Dear all;
I'd like to understand better the benefits of S-OFF my device before buying the paygCLIP.

What i want to do is actually to remove stock apps which I cannot care less (like friendstream, beep, plurk, stocks..) and move some other to SD.
All of this to free internal memory that on this device is fairly reduced.
I'd also like to remove the gmail app which i dislike..but actually i am not sure this is feasible..

Ideally I'd like also to overclock it..but i am not so sure about it, the wildfire S just suffer when every now and then i play angry birds..but i play it rarely..so..

Can I do what above when s-off (and rooted) ?
(or can I do it without SOFF and rooting)?

And last question..I have a mac pc, does PAYG works only on win?

thanks!

Manipulating the filesystem (eg deleting apps and so on) is one thing you can do with a s-off'd device. With a locked device this is not possible.

Overclock is another thing which is related to the installed kernel - search here in the forums and you will find more information.

Whether it works with Mac or not, should be posted an the manufacturers homepage and asked in that forums.

Btw1: i think the goldcard generation only works in windows - for using the clip you dont even need a pc - only a battery.

Btw2: PAYG does not exist anymore - read the forums of the manufacturer
