Default New Samsung Bluetooth Keyboard Case/Combo Announced

Just announced today along with touchwiz. The design looks quite slim and in line with the design of the Tab, I can't wait to try one of these out.

$150 seems a little steep though.

That does look slick, but it also adds bulk. $150 is indeed kind of steep.

I'd go with a Logitech unit. That way, I can keep the thinness of the Samsung folio cover that I already bought for daily use, and then have a keyboard that I can use with other devices as well. Bonus is that it costs less than half of the Samsung.

It's also kind of annoying how they seem to be releasing the accessories in piecemeal fashion. I know they wanted to get the Tab to market as quickly as possible, but it would've been nice to have the full complement of accessories to choose from from the start. Some people who already dropped $60 on the case might be peeved that this new option is available. Even if you have plenty of disposable cash, it becomes kind of hard to justify sinking so much into a device that you'll probably just replace next year.

That Logitech unit is not available in Europe according to the Logitech website, at least not in NL.

Well, even if you can't get the Logitech there are dozens of others. I guess if you need a keyboard as your daily driver then it would be worthwhile. But, for most casual use that thing would just get in the way.

Anyway, I use my Apple bluetooth keyboard with my Tab! That keyboard gets around.
