Unhappy Can't see ringtones on SGS 2
can't see and set ringtones on SGS 2

Are you talking about default ringtones or custom ringtones ? For custom ringtones i made 2 folders on my external sd card with names "Ringtones" and "Notifications", put all my custom ringtones there and i can see and set them as default ringtones/notifications sounds without any problem.

You can try out the Rings Extended app. Its a good app to help pull out all ringtones in your phone.
