"never" option sets data to be on while in sleep. however policy(that 3 options) does not work...

are you sure, can you leave your phone idle for hour or 1/2 hour and still have a wifi connection when you unlock it ?

if i have an active connection , say i have tune in radio working, the phone can sit idle for 30' mins and still have wifi connection. If i leave it idle for 30 mins with no connections active then it shuts down and when i activate the screen it goes on again. But this is sth i like and i enabled in wifi settings. I believe it is good it shuts down for battery conserving reasons

I downloaded 3.0.4 with my phone using opera mobile(i was on 3.0.3) and almost the whole time screen was off. Took mi about 30-40mins to download. So no problem for me on 3.0.3, will see about 3.0.4

If your phone is downloading it's not in sleep mode, which is where the problem is for us who want to keep it on, for messaging services etc.

Yesterday i wioe everything and instled 3.0.4 ..and it very lagy.. sometimes i hd to tipe twice that it detect typing. :/ what to do? Anyone have similar issues?
