I have gsm evo 3d. If there are only a few phones who already got root and s-off, it means that it is already possible. Im not flashing something now, wait for my s-off.

yeah some are already rooted as they shipped radio s-off.
So that made the rooting process way easier.

BTw flashing failed for me. looping splash rofl
worked after following steps correctly was too enthusiast so forgot to wipe data,although i was told that didnt matter too much.

any updates or did you give up ?

btw what does this rom install for bloat??
i have 200mb less interntal memory..

Just remove it yourself with titanium backup i.e.

can this rom be ported to work on the CMDA evo 3d? I love virtuous

Maybe it's allocated differently.. Type "df" in terminal or adb shell and compare it with mine:

It only has 1gb of usuable memory on /data.

I just got my Dutch EVO-3D

Locked up as well, bootloader HBOOT-1.49.0007

As i understand correctly there is no way to root the european devices (GSM) ??

I just don't understand what Flashmaniac did to get his device rooted. Did you have a other HBOOT-loader number or what else did you do ?

Also if it's not possible to root the european device how come ther already is a custom-rom for it , how could the cookers test the rom ?
