Is there a difference between the

1FF-sunfire-user-2.3.4-4.5.1A-1_SUN-154_5-CM-release-keys-signed-Sprint-US.sbf
and the latest
1FF-sunfire-user-2.3.4-4.5.1A-1_SUN-198_7-CM-release-keys-signed-Sprint-US.sbf.gz

Is it worth flashing with the latter ??? Note that I cannot upgrade anything (PRL, Software, Profile etc..) OTA as I am not picking up any Sprint tower here in Canada.. Any advice

It does not touch MSL or MEID.
But if you inject your CDMA (not sprint), you will lost your CDMA inject, need to inject it back

Yeah, boot into recovery and do a factory wipe. You will lose your data, but your phone will boot.

Yes it'll just put your phone back to stock. So you'll gonna have to root it after and unlock it again if you want to try any custom Rom/kernel.
