[Q] Google + app messing up HTC Clock/Weather Widget

I am rooted but still running stock froyo minus the bloat I have frozen. I really like the weather/clock widget especially how the weather follows my location. About a week ago my location become stuck on a nearby city. Last night I finally figured by a process of removing recently installed Apps it was my Google + app screwing it up. I think it started after I installed the most recent Google + update.

Just to be sure I reinstalled the app and my location changed to Scarsdale (I don't even know where that is) removed Google + again and my widget went back to showing my correct location.

For now I am leaving Google + off my phone. Anyone else ran into this?
