I'm having the same issues with the Asus email widget. Finally installed with the last link,but force closes.. grrr Galaxy tab 10.1 not rooted.

You can install it just like other widget now!

also confirmed this doesnt work .. it installs to data/app ... maybe that is the issue .. the permissions are correct though

Restart the TAB and you will see it under widgets when you long press on homescreen.

I have tested on two different TAB's and it works perfect.
