Default [ROM] development stopped [ATT Stock Froyo] THE DIET STARTS

THE DIET

Modded Rom for stock froyo

The BRAVO diet consists of losing 30-40mbs of weight from the phone system. Everyone knows that when you lose weight you get more energy and move faster and so does the phone.

I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR PHONE IF YOU USE THIS, IT WILL BE AT YOUR OWN RISK

Removed bloatware
Edit buildprop tweaks
This is a stripped version with go launcher, Go sms, and Rockplayerlite
Basic email instead of blur email
Removed blur home, blur contacts, blur messaging, yahoo contacts, maps, quickoffice, boot animation, vlingo, most at&t app, removed some unused lib&etc files, many widgets and more.

Most of these things you can get from market..

You must be on stock froyo rom for the Bravo. If you are not on stock rom then flash stock rom from SBF file USE THIS POST TO SBF

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. download and place on sdcard
  2. reboot into recovery menu
  3. wipe Dalvik in advanced menu of recovery
  4. wipe Cache in recovery
  5. choose install zip and click to install ROM
  6. reboot and give it some time for first boot

I use 2nd init for defy in the market.

Thanks to jorognv, bandroidx and his apps, and all developers of Bravo and Defy Roms that I may have spliced or used files for reference.

This is not a rom yet... bandroidx is an update zip that changes the rom... it is not a flashable rom.. this one will be a flashable rom using recovery so I don't have to sbf when I want to go back when trying cm7 out.. and its good to have for pulling files from if needed for porting..

Quick answer is it won't be much different. Maybe a little faster and will come rooted. And have recovery already installed.

Default Quadrant

Hi rdannar -- I'm really hoping that with you working on the Bravo my wife will stop complaining about her phone. Wondering about that quadrant score over 2k, though... Is that legit, or is it using the same I/O slight of hand that some ROM devs were using on the Sony X10?

Thanks for your work on this!
