Cool [HOW-TO] FIXING BOOT LOOPING Problems in INFUSE v2.0.0 & BETAS and other roms

For those of you who are having boot looping problems it looks like
this is the best and surest way to solve the problem.
This solution will work with almost all roms.

This may take a bit longer to do then some other ways but it's
100% fool proof if you follow all the instructions below.

First go here and follow all the instructions to a "T": Ultimate-Return to Stock

Then you need to ROOT your phone so download: SuperOneClickRooter

Now Unzip the file to a folder on your desktop so you can use it easily. Turn on the "usb debugging"
under "settings>applications>development so you can use SuperOneClick and root your phone.

After rooting you need to do the following steps:

1: You must be rooted.
2: If you have a /Voodoo folder on your internal SD card, delete it.
3: You need to install "Es File Explorer" from market (free).
You can use "root explorer" too, a paid app from the market.
4: You need to navigate to the root directory of your sdcard.
5: You MUST delete the file called recovery from root of sdcard
in /system/bin/recovery. (recovery is the filename)
6: Get yourself familiar with Es File Explorer so you can do step
number five. Go to settings in Es File Explorer to be sure its setup
for reading and writing before trying to delete files.
If not you will not be able to delete the file "recovery".
NOTE: YOU MUST delete the file "recovery" before continuing
or else you will get into boot loops!
7: Install ROM Manager from the Market and open it.
8: Select "Flash ClockworkMod Recovery" and choose "Galaxy S i9000".
9: Select "Download ROM", select GTG465x, select the Infused V2.0.0
Stable version which has NO rainbows at all & click the download button.
10: At the "Installation Type" prompt, select full.
11: When you get to the "ROM Pre-Installation" prompt, you MUST check
"Wipe Data and Cache".
12: Press OK. Your phone will reboot and automatically install the ROM.
Have patience!

P.S. after doing this its best if you make a backup using rom manager
before you do anything else like adding add-ons.
Also do not restore any "system data" with titanium backup.
Only restore "Apps with Data". (Never restore system data).

Have a great day,
Enjoy!

Please don't forget to give me a big THANKS if reading this was helpful to you!

There are plenty of strong (and free) alternatives to Root Explorer, some of which offer even more functionality than RE. I personally use ES File Explorer with its incredibly useful LAN view, but I would jump ship to Total Commander if they improved their icons and interface.

Yes I know, thats why I modified the post.
ES File Explorer actually is LOT'S better too!
I use it myself all the time.
It also has a built-in video player and a lot more.
Don't know why everyone mostly mentions root explorer

Have a great day,
Enjoy!

What is "quite a while"?
You need to give a lot more details
As to exactly what you are doing.
