[Q] KG4 with older modem and wifi module

I was wondering if I could flash the kb5 modem over the kg4 one in odin or cwm, and if that controls the wifi signal, as well. If it doesn't control the wifi, what does, and can I flash that back, too? I love gingerbread, and this leak FLIES on ext4. Hell, I can even live with the wifi calling issue. But, man, this weak-ass wifi signal and modem have *really* got to go....

Any input is greatly appreciated. I did do a search, but if I missed something, please feel free to point it out.

The modem will affect the wifi signal. But idk if it can run on gb.
