Stock US ROM to rescue us Aussies from 3.0.1

Folks,

If you're not aware, Australia seemed to get the AT100 just a little bit earlier than the rest of you all (the name "Thrive" is already trademarked here as snail bait ... lol). We have been assured the hardware is identical.

But we didn't get it early without a price. We got foisted with 3.0.1 of the OS. Toshiba have assured us we are getting an update "very soon" ... but I didn't expect "very soon" to mean more than a month with no end in sight.

Is it possible to flash with the US stock ROM? At least you guys seem to be getting updates in a reasonable time frames so far. And the lack of any meaningful communication from Toshiba ANZ is getting frustrating.

Any help would be appreciate.

yes , flashed it today using austeregrims 3.1 Stock backup ( didn't want root ) .
used both thrive forums and tabletforums for the info .
biggest hurdle was getting ADB and ADB usb driver setup , then easy to flash CWM through fastboot .
Don't forget to extract the stock image using 7zip , winrar didn't cut it for me .

When the aussie release comes out i will just restore from nandroid backup and then update .
