Lite'ning 5.0 ROM running laggy

I installed the lite'ning 5.0 rom over my existing 2.3.3 stock rom. I was expecting the rom to be much faster and less laggier than the original, but it lags so much more. Would this be caused because I did not do a wipe or factory reset on the phone before i flash the rom? Can someone give me a bit of guidance. Thanks

Possibly. I would ask this at the proper thread though.

And I'd recommend you to try other roms as well

yes backup all apps with tibu, then full wipe and reflash

I just reflashed cognition s2 after wiping data and cache and it is working splendidly!
