Compass now works =)


I haven't tested too much, the compass is definitely working as it should now - but it is possible that this file may have broken some other sensor, so make sure you keep a backup of your old memsicd

it goes in /system/bin

make sure you set all the right permissions and ownership, and reboot.. I just did it with root explorer but maybe some clever person can make the update.zip

works on gio pro 1.3. dunno about simplygio.


EDIT: One question guys. does anyone knows about the problem that the 2.3.x versions have with some wifi routers and that disconnect all the time? well mine makes my router reset all the time. i just can acess internet for a few seconds.

Download compas fix file

extract on your pc , and copy to sd card
now use root explorer copy and replace to system/bin (make sure its mount r/w)
and set permissions to all 9 boxes.. reboot , and you are done

have you tried setting a static ip? what router do you have? and what type of encryption
