Problem with ad blocker, ad free android

Ive been using ad free andriod since Ive been on Cyanogenmod and its been fine for the most part. Problem is every now and then instead of blocking the ads I get a page cannot be displayed error with a link in it. The problem with that is when that comes up it takes up the entire page of the app and then I cannot use the app becasue if I try to scroll down to where I need to be I actually click on the link its trying to send me to no matter where I touch the screen. So at that point it kinda defeats the purpose of having an ad blocker becasue it renders my app useless. Any ideas on how to fix that?

What ROM/version are you running?
Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling Ad Free?
Have you tried fixing permissions?

U can do this by search the soft name: Lucky Patch.

Note: Must be rooted.
