[Q] Lock screen doesnt respond to touch

It started happening maybe 2 days ago. Im running the newest version of Hyperdroid and have never had any problems. Whenever i turn my phone on and attempt to unlock it by either sliding the tab, turning the dial, or sliding the lense down, the screen doesnt respond to my touch. I have to try like 3 times before i can finally unlock my phone, its super annoying.
Anyone have a fix for this or advice?

Set my phone to "menu unlock" but when i put menu, the touchscreen wont work! It's getting really frustrating. Could the phone be going bad?

UPDATE: now my touchscreen wont work at all! pretty much my phone is useless now. anyone help?

Your digitizer is dead. If you are still under warranty, I suggest you flash back your WM stock and send your phone back in for repair. Unfortunately, there is no other way around this. Read here for more info http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...80&postcount=1
