Atrix radio power lower than Defy?

Hello everyone, I bought an Atrix to upgrade my Defy, I'm very satisfied with the phone except for one thing, the signal power of my Defy is way higher than my Atrix. I work underground and with the same carrier my Defy works excelent, while my Atrix keeps getting out of signal ;(

Is there a way to increase the power for the radio in order to get a better reception?

What version is this? Im currently on N_01.77.30P

And no, I'm not on AT&T, im in Brazil (Oi).. 2.1ghz 3g frequency!
