So how do I enable WiFi N on the X8?

You can enable it, but it is causing unstable wifi connection at most X8.
Phone: hTC One V on EverVolv 3.2.0 @ 1.5 Ghz OC,150 mA UV

Tablet: ASUS TransformerPad TF300T @ Stock 4.2.1 for now
