Default Is there a way to make games appear in the xperia play app?

Is there any program which gives you the ability to edit the items appearing on the xperia play app?

Sent from my R800i using XDA App

No you would have to use apk tool to decompile the apk and add the xperia play optimised tag to the androidmanifest.xml

Every "Xperia Play optimized" game WILL appear in this dedicated APP, if it's not optimized - it won't appear.
No way to change which optimized app will or won't apperar.
Phone history:

Sagem MY-X1 > Nokia 3310 > Nokia 3510i > SE k750i > SE p990i > SE Xperia X8 > SE XperiaPLAY > Sony Xperia T:

SONY, Y U NO GIVE US STAMINA MODE?

on stock 4.1.2 and...

There is like i said you just need to add the xperia play optimised tag to the androidmanifest.xml, you can also edit the database.db for the xperia play launcher, but that wont last long, as the launcher rebuilds the database.db file everytime it is relaunched

Any new progress?
I was thinking, maybe there is a much easier way to fullfill this. Theres a Programm called ButtonRemapper.apk which i used for my old LG P500 to get rid of the Screen-On battery drain, everytime any button was pushed inside my pocket. The programs name is self explaining i guess. If we could figure out which "button" is the slide-open of the gamepad, we could remap it to another app (or appbrowser). Inside this appbrowser we put all the games concipated for the gamepad. Thats it. What do you guys think?? Possible?

the easiest would be to have a script or an app which recompiles and signed any app with xperia optimised tag in manifest

Now THAT'S what I'm waiting for.

I can't quite explain why, but it's a HUGE pet peeve for me when developers make their game "Xperia PLAY Optimized" without editing their freaking manifest for the launcher.

I try to do it with APK Manager 4.9, but that's been almost always failing during the decompile, so that's not working for me... and it's a pain in the ass to even have to do all that.

The EASIEST way would be for the Xperia Play App to read a list from a text file which contained the app name, link to icon and link to launch the app.

For some strange reason, everybody has to be clever these days and add a million pieces of useless crap in their software in the most complicated way possible to prove how clever they are.

Yea, i just called most apps useless pieces of crap. Sue me.

The art of implementing simple user interfaces with one way of performing an action instead of a million different ways to do the same thing is disapointingly dead.
