Just a random question, will the RUU in the OP give me the hboot that needs to be unlocked through HTCDev?
Look! A distraction!

No it will give you hboot 2.16 . If you want the ruu that will let you unlock with htc dev you need the 4.67 ruu

No, I'm just looking to RUU and re-root to see if I can't fix my reboot issues.

we all know that there is so many threads to go through and pages and pages. Simple question since I have never had to do this. I'm selling my rooted HTC EVo on ebay and the guy wants to know will you loose root if you flash the phone to boost mobile from sprint. Since i dont know too much on flashing. Thanks

I need help rooting with the revolutionary method. It keeps telling me beta key invalid. It gives me the same beta key every time but it's not working. I even ran the revolutionary.exe from CMD and did a copy and paste of the key, still no dice. Can someone please help me with this. Thank you

if you copied and pasted the beta key and it says its wrong/invalid that means you typed in your serial number wrong. Make sure to check your serial number. If the serial number is not correct the beta key wont work

Are you sure you input your Serial Number correctly? You should copy/paste that from the Revolutionary command prompt window as well.
