USE THIS SCRIPT AT YOUR OWN RISK


Prerequisites:
1. Unlocked Bootloader
2. Recovery for Evo 3D GSM

Features
- su binary
- sqlite3 binary
- busybox binary
- SuperUser.apk
- works correctly with Titanium Backup

How to:

1. Download "kamma-root_cwm.zip" (bellow in Attached Files)
2. Copy it to sdcard
3. Reboot into recovery
5. Click "install zip from sdcard"
6. Choose zip from sdcard
7. Pick the "kamma-root_cwm.zip"
8. Install
9. Reboot

Now you have perm-rooted your device...

Hm? What exactly is that doing different to the su-zip file from ChainsDD?

it contains sqlite3 and busybox. without these binaries you cannot use titanium backup, or some other tools (Root explorer...)

it's cuz IEF pushed Busybox for you and else, at least that's what he did with me.

do the evo 3d gsm's have a unlocked bootloader?
or does revolutionary make it unlocked, and then i use this for rooting?

the bootloader is factory-locked, but revolutionary released updated tool, that can unlock GSM version of Evo 3D.

if you unlock with revolutionary and install Revolutionary CWM, you can use this for rooting.
